This was an exciting week for all of us with the announcement of Dentsu Aegis Network’s acquisition of Cardinal Path. A global media group that specializes in marketing media, digital, and creative communication services, Dentsu Aegis Network’s purchase of Cardinal Path is intended to address a growing need for comprehensive, credible data solutions to help clients succeed in the digital economy.
It’s been great to have the support and well-wishes of many of our clients and technology partners, both one-to-one in our communications and via social media over the past couple of days. We have come far together in an aim to compete and win on digital, and I know there’s so much more cutting-edge work to deliver, techniques to discover and expertise to build in this incredibly fast-paced marketing landscape.
I’m very proud of these relationships and of the exceptional work that our entire Cardinal Path team has delivered over the past five years.
While it’s really just “business as usual”, our clients will benefit from the enhanced scope, scale, and depth of expertise that our combined offering creates.
In fact, all of our reporting structure remains the same, with one exception. I will report jointly into Rob Horler, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network USA, and Annette Warring, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Canada.
In the press release announcing the acquisition, Rob Horler says,“Cardinal Path will allow us to leap forward our data strategy in North America.”
And it’s just that need to push the limits of data, digital, and analytics that has driven me and my co-founders Dave Booth, Dave Eckman, Corey Koberg, and Alex Langshur from day one.
