Good week in the blogosphere too, with mobile web statistics, cross browser compatibility testing, and statistics on just how attached people are to Google.
Internet Marketing and SEO
We start the week with emarketer and Make your Emails go Viral. Unfortunately this isnt really about making your emails go viral, but rather statistics on the use of social sharing in email. Only 17% provide social sharing features, apparently. Apalling!
Forrester is looking at a personal favourite topic: the movile web. Their claim? The Mobile Web Audience is larger than you think. A true statement, even if they end with the conclusion that as smartphones catch on we’ll watch the mobile web flourish. Ok, so maybe we will somewhat, but it ignores the fact that the reason weather.com and people.com generate so many mobiel hitsw is because they produce proper mobile content: easily checkable, convienient content to get while youre on the go.
