Our Principal Consultant and Co-Founder of E-Nor, Feras Alhlou, is running for the DAA Board! Please vote for him!
“Why?” you might ask. I’ve personally known Feras for over 15 years now and aside from being just an upstanding human being in general and mentor to many people like me, anyone within the industry who knows him knows how committed he is to Digital Analytics. And as you’ll see from the video below, he’s taking it the next level with promises he’ll complete once voted in! 🙂
If the video is not convincing, maybe Feras’s history and vision for the DAA will motivate you to come out and vote for him.
Here are a few words from the man himself:
In 2003, I cofounded E-Nor in Santa Clara, California. Our then very small team loved numbers and the accountability that data brought to marketing, even when our customers were small business owners with very limited budgets. It was extremely rewarding to see the joy on their faces when we showed them the reports that, for the first time, provided precious insights on how their hard-earned marketing dollars are working for them. From these microcosmic experiences, I recognized the power of digital analytics and understood that a dynamic new industry would soon be burgeoning before our eyes.
Now as the principal consultant of E-Nor, a global analytics and optimization agency serving the analytics needs of some of the world’s most recognized brands, I still remember our humble beginnings. I owe much of our success to our team members/consultants, and to the larger DAA community, whose members are notorious for helping each other out, perhaps more than in any other industry.
I have also found it rewarding and enriching to give back to our DAA community, and I encourage everyone – in the DAA’s ongoing spirit of mutual support – to volunteer.
Over the past several years, I’ve served on the examination committee (i.e., contributing to the questions that those of you who are Certified Web Analysts had to answer to pass J). I’m also a co-founder and a co-chair of the San Francisco Bay Area DAA chapter. I’ve worked closely with Krista Seiden and Charles Davis (co-chairs) and other Bay Area volunteers to plan three very successful symposia, in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
I have also helped to plan many other educational events, including the Evolve with Google Analytics conference, and to bring industry leaders and practitioners to our members for career enhancement and networking opportunities.
When I am not looking at data, I enjoy spending time with family, reading, skiing, aikido and, of course, volunteering, including my service on the board of Red Cross – Northern California.
Thanks for reading. I look forward to working with you on furthering the mission of the DAA.
I’m also ready to serve on the upcoming 2015 DAA board, here are my promises to the DAA community :), I appreciate your vote!
