A new Monday, a new roundup. This week has been somewhat less exciting than the last and I am going to credit that with the wealth of posts that were about today. We have all sorts of great information on subjects randing from building mobile web apps to Facebook advertising, to Googles Panda update, to integrating GA data to… well, there’s just too much. You’re going to have to read more.
Create
- We start the week with Six revisions and their tips and techniques for building mobile web apps. The premise here is to build web apps with similar features to client side apps, using a combination of quick loading JavaScript and HTML/CSS. It goes over theory, coding, and even some device level specifics (such as hardware acceleration).
- And for those more “cross platform” oriented, A List Apart has a guide to the various ways to hide webpage content. Simple, but good info.
Attract
- E-nor has tips on how to advertise on Facebook. Facebook has a selection of new advertising tools including the send button, Facebook Deals, and more.
- Panda getting you down? Linkbuilder has posted a twitter chat with Matt Cutts about how long it will take for Google to recognize your updates. Cutts’s answer? They need to re-run the algorithm to re-gen the data. Wonderful.
Analyze
- Justin Cutroni has a high level overview of integrating GA data with your other company data to do various types of analysis. Pretty in-depth stuff for a “high level overview”%2
