Alex Langshur to present at MARCOM in June

PublicInsite is pleased to announce that President Alex Lanshur will be presenting at MARCOM 2011 at the newly reconstructed Ottawa Convention Centre on June 1 and 2, 2011.

Alex will be presenting a session called “I Know What Ad You Saw! Measuring Campaign Performance in the Digital Age”.

Have you managed or been asked to evaluate the impact from a media or promotional campaign?  Do you want to be able to demonstrate effectiveness and measure the value of your online investments?  Are you looking for better metrics than simply reporting visits or page views? Would you like to know how different target audiences respond?  Not sure how to measure and report on the campaign outcomes?

If any of these questions resonate with you, then join us as we present a best practices session on how to use web analytics to measure all your online activities (social, mobile, web, email, video, etc.).  More than ever, communication professionals need to be able to demonstrate impact and value for money given ever tightening budgets and increased focus on outcomes.  The good news is that the tools and approaches to help you do so keep getting better all the time.

In this session we’ll focus on the straightforward, practical tips that you give you maximum bang for the buck, such as:

  • Knowing enough to be dangerous: a primer on web analytics
  • How to develop an online measurement framework;
  • Tips on how to evaluate performance of the marketing initiative;
  • Reporting results that make your colleagues (and senior management) take notice
