VKI Nominated for WAA Award of Excellence in Most Influential Agency/Vendor

That’s the Web Analytics Association, not Web Analytics Anonymous (though the former may lead to a need for the latter)

Excitement abound throughout the office as today, as we received notification that VKI Studios has been nominated for a Web Analytics Association Award of Excellence in the category of Most Influential Agency/Vendor. We’re honored to be listed alongside the giants of our industry.

From the email:

CONGRATULATIONS! You have been nominated for a WAA Award of Excellence in the category of: Most Influential Agency/Vendor (group)

Your nomination recognizes the contributions you and/or your company have made to the web analytics industry. It is an honor to be nominated and the WAA congratulates you on your success.

The WAA will be publicizing all of the nominees so the web analytics community is aware of your accomplishments. If there is any reason you do not wish to be nominated, please let us know no later than February 14th. Acceptance of your nomination is also permission for the WAA to use your name and photo in its communications related to the Awards.

The process to determine the recipients of the various awards will begin on February 15th when voting for the finalists in each category will be opened to all WAA members. The information used will be exactly from what was submitted by the person who nominated you. Once the finalists have been selected and announced, a distinguished panel of judges representing current and former leaders of WAA will then select the recipient of each award. Award recipients will be announced at the inaugural WAA Spring Awards Gala on the evening of March 15th at the eMetrics Summit in San Francisco where all nominees and finalists will be recognized.

Needless to say we were all thrilled by this.

BrianK: This is frigging amazing – they didn’t even have to wait for the 3rd in my series of the Mother of all blog posts!!!

KentC: This is obviously because of my conversation with Stephan Hammel about PDF tracking.

BrianT: I see the WAA finally got around to watching The Anti-HiPPO. You can all thank me.

Several fist fights and a first aid kit later, we’re back and ready to turn our narcissism outwards. Web analytics community, get your bandages ready.
